Jab poori duniya me train sirf 2 patri par chalti hai, tab Bangladesh ne kuch alag hi soch liya. Yahan kai jagah par railway track me 2 nahi, balki 3 patri lagayi gayi hain. Pehli baar dekhne par lagta hai jaise railway walon ne galti se extra patri daal di ho, lekin asal me ye ek bahut hi smart jugaad hai।
Bangladesh me alag-alag size ki trains chalti hain. Kuch trains India jaisi broad gauge par chalti hain, aur kuch patli meter gauge par. Dono type ki trains ko alag-alag track dena mehenga padta, isliye engineers ne socha — “Ek hi track par dono chala dete hain!” Bas, yahin se 3 patri wala system shuru ho gaya।

Is system ko technical language me Triple Gauge Track kaha jata hai. Isme teen patri is tarah lagayi jati hain ki dono type ki trains aaram se chal saken. Matlab ek hi line par chhoti aur badi dono trains safar kar sakti hain. Ye system paise bachane ke saath-saath time bhi save karta hai।
Is wajah se Bangladesh ko naya railway track banane me kam kharcha karna padta hai. Saath hi, India aur Bangladesh ke beech train service aur trade bhi aasaan ho jata hai।
